That was my first Westlife concert. I was so excited about it, it was amazing. I was 14, almost 15 years old, and so I wasn't allowed to go alone. My father took me with him and I think he suffered 😅 We had seats somewhat further back but the view was pretty good. I can still remember that the stage was in the middle and round. The opening was that there were five big balls in the air and then they opened and the Lads abseiled down. It looked great with the long black coats they were wearing. 😍
Then my memories start to fade a bit but I still remember how happy my father was that songs he knew were played (in the medley) and even a song by Queen which made him very happy as a Queen fan.
Then I remember that there was a piano on stage for a few songs and Kian played the piano while he sang with the other lads, that was really great.
I took a few photos there, but back then I only had a camera that had a film with 36 pictures in it. You took a photo and then had to keep filming to take the next picture. 🤣 Does anyone remember these cameras? The pictures didn't really turn out well. There was no zoom and the lads in the pictures are as big as ants 🤣 it is not even possible to tell who is who.
But it was a wonderful evening for me that I will always remember and that puts a smile on my face.
Oh how lovely memories. I should have been in Stuttgart on this tour, my biological Mother promissed this to me, but a Week before the Concert she said we don't go. Well awesome, thanks for nothing Mum once more.
But yeah I remember those kind of Cameras as one year later I could finally see the lads Live in Zurich and had such a Camera My photos weren't so bad but still not like the photos we take now.
